Dianne's Story
Years ago, I was teaching aerobics when a chance conversation changed the direction of my life.
At a meeting, I met a world champion power lifter. We started talking about fitness, and he saw something in me that I did not yet see in myself.
At the time, I had never stepped into a gym for strength training, but he encouraged me to try a structured program and even suggested that I compete.
At 44 years old, the idea of competing felt impossible. My first thought was, “There is no way I can do that.” But with encouragement, I gave it a try.
Eight months later, at age 45, I won my first Natural Bodybuilding competition in Seattle, Washington. Since then, I have gone on to win championships at ages 55, 60, and 70.
But what matters most to me is not the stage or the trophies. It is what strength can do for everyday life.
Strength helps us stay independent, move with confidence, support our balance, and keep doing the things we love. I also understand that fitness levels and requirements change as we get older. What worked at 30 may not be right at 50, 60, or 70.
That is why I meet every client as an individual. I listen to your goals, concerns, and comfort level so we can create a realistic plan that helps you become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
My goal is to help you feel capable, supported, and encouraged every step of the way.
Experience That Shapes My Approach
Strength Can Grow at Any Age
My years in competitive fitness taught me the value of consistency, discipline, and purposeful training. Working with clients taught me something equally important: progress looks different for every person. Success may mean lifting more weight, but it may also mean rising from a chair more easily, walking with better balance, lifting the grandkids, returning to a favorite activity, or feeling confident enough to begin again.

I Listen to You First
Your goals, concerns, health history, experience, and comfort level guide the plan.
Your Plan is Personal
We start where you are and create an exercise and lifestyle plan for your abilities & goals.
Progress is Not Forced
You will be challenged appropriately while receiving guidance & positive reinforcement.
We Focus on Real Life
The goal is not only to complete a workout. It is to help you move, feel, and function better in everyday life.
Strength Training With Purpose
Dianne has been wise and thoughtful in her approach to training my mother. The workouts include practicing how to get up from the floor in the case of a fall.
